Enjoy North Yorkshire with Barker Stakes Farm

Located in a quiet haven of North Yorkshire, just on the outskirts of Pickering – our 18th Century farmhouse Bed and Breakfast accommodation is set within 32 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, and surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the moors – where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday, go bird watching, or take one of the many pleasant walking or cycling routes, with 800 yards of trout/graylng fly fishing onsite.

In the summer when the weather is good enjoy a game of croquet or boules on the lawn or giant Geronimo Jenga in the courtyard. For the athletic amongst you football is available on the field, table tennis or pool in the barn or how about a game of swingball. For the kids a small playpark is situated on the back lawn.

We currently have 5 Dexter cows Tizzy, Horace , Doris,Milly and Billy loads of free-range hens, some ducks , a turkey and two goats Arry and Bert.

About our accommodation…

We have eleven en suite bed and breakfast guest rooms sited on an open courtyard two with decking; a dog friendly double room- with its own private seating area, an en suite double log cabin room, and  five newly refurbished lodges timber lodges.

We are a family orientated business -so cots and high-chairs can be provided upon request, and special dietary needs are catered for if we are informed in advance.

We are open Christmas and New Year for b & b and self catering.
