Steve and Sarah welcome you to our Pickering Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering accommodation at Barker Stakes Farm, located in a quiet haven of North Yorkshire. Our 18th Century farmhouse is set within 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck and surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the moors where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday. Go bird watching, take one of the many pleasant walking or cycling routes or explore 800 yards of trout/grayling fly fishing onsite (close season 1st October to 24th March).
We have twelve en-suite bed and breakfast guest rooms sleeping between two and five sited on an open courtyard with decking, a dog friendly double room with its own private seating area, an en-suite double log cabin room and ten self catering timber lodges sleeping two to six people. Free WI-FI is available. We have received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence annually since 2012!
In the summer when the weather is good let your children run of some energy on our play park. Enjoy a game of croquet or boules on the lawn or giant Geronimo Jenga in the courtyard. For the athletic amongst you football is available on the field, pool table tennis or table football in the barn or how about a game of swing ball.

We currently have 3 Dexter cows, 4 alpacas, 5 goats, 3 rabbits, 3 ponies, some free-range hens, some ducks and some turkeys.
Pickering is the Gateway to the moors and our location is an ideal base for trips to the Yorkshire Coast. It is a short ride from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, York and Scarborough.
We are a family orientated business where cots and high-chairs can be provided upon request. Special dietary needs are catered for if we are informed in advance.
We are open all year including Christmas and New Year.
