Enjoy North Yorkshire with Barker Stakes Farm

Located in a quiet haven of North Yorkshire, just on the outskirts of Pickering – our 18th Century farmhouse Bed and Breakfast accommodation is set within 16 acres on the banks of Pickering Beck, and surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the moors – where you can enjoy a relaxing holiday, go bird watching, or take one of the many pleasant walking or cycling routes, with 800 yards of trout/graylng fly fishing onsite(close season 1st October to 24th March). FREE WIFI is available in all rooms and lodges.

In the summer when the weather is good enjoy a game of croquet or boules on the lawn or giant Geronimo Jenga in the courtyard. For the athletic amongst you football is _MG_5432available on the field, pool table tennis or table football in the barn or how about a game of swingball.

New for summer 2014 is a our new playpark and games room.

We currently have 5 Dexter cows ,4 alpacas ,3 goats 3 rabbits 2 ponies some free-range hens, some ducks and some turkeys.

About our accommodation…

We have eleven en suite bed and breakfast guest rooms sited on an open courtyard two with decking; a dog friendly double room- with its own private seating area, an en suite double log cabin room, five self catering timber lodges and three caravans.

We are a family orientated business -so cots and high-chairs can be provided upon request, and special dietary needs are catered for if we are informed in advance.

We are open Christmas and New Year for b & b and self catering.(breakfast on Christmas day is continental breakfast served in your room)
